Graffiti Tutorial

Hi,

This is a guide on how to make your very first graffiti piece.

Step 1: 

So we're making a simple piece out of the word "Art". 

Draw out the letters very straight and crude like on in the picture. 

Keep the height and thickness even.

Step 2:
Now just round up the corners of the letters.

Step 3:
Make the outlines thick but keep the lines inside thin.
Draw out the highlights.

Step 4:
Now colorize.
Usually you want to make the darker colors closer to the highlights
to make it "shine" more but you could do it the other way around aswell.

And remember, this is still in the concept stage so you don't want to be picky with details
and making lines very precise.

Step 5:

Now that you've got the concept sketch the way you like it it's time to draw out the original design.

At this stage you want to be more precise and try to make the lines fine.

To give the piece a boost you can make a dotted transition instead of just a fade.
